Gaiden Story Mode plays like Story Mode, but the difference is that it is shorter, comprising of only 3 stages each. The player will receive the third costume on the characters.Ī new mode added in Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes. Katakura Kojūrō, Azai Nagamasa and Oichi are the story choices. However, unlike Sengoku Basara 2, the player can only choose among 3 (newly playable) characters. Very much like Sengoku BASARA 2 's Story Mode, players pick a character and go through his/her story. This feature is inspired by the new mechanic added in Devil Kings, a localized version of Sengoku BASARA. The character skill that can cause priming will be display in a yellow text. In this state the enemy's health gauge will turn into yellow and double your hit count on every attack for a few seconds.
Some of character's skill will turn the enemy into Prime State.
This fever drive doesn't consume the Sengoku Drive in stock. When player reaches every 500 combos, Player will automatically turn into Drive State for a period of time.
